Jerome’s Furniture has been investing in 3D and Augmented Reality since 2016. Scott Perry, Executive Vice President of Digital Marketing at Jerome’s Furniture, led the effort to keep Jerome’s ahead of the curve by innovating early. Initially focusing their 3D investment on Augmented Reality, the retailer has expanded to offer 3D Room Planner and more Augmented Reality apps powered by 3D Cloud™ by Marxent.

In 2021, 3D Cloud partnered with Jerome’s for the first WebAR deployment in furniture retail history. ”3D Cloud made it possible to launch WebAR in just two weeks,” said Scott Perry. “Building all of our 3D experiences on a single platform has allowed us to roll out successive 3D initiatives with speed and consistency. The initial content investment can seem intimidating, but the fact that we’re able to reuse 3D content creates tremendous efficiency and allows us to launch new applications quickly.”

The retailer’s current AR e-commerce apps for Android and iOS have tens of thousands of sessions per month and thousands of users. The AR feature converts to sales on a consistently high basis.
