The Furniture Today Leadership Conference (FTLC) brings together more than 450 of the furniture industry’s most influential leaders for three days of presentations, networking, and more. The FTLC is a carefully curated event that aims to to provide industry professionals with the insights and information they need to guide their businesses successfully into the increasingly high-tech future.

For this year’s event, several of Marxent’s corporate partners will be on hand for a very special panel discussion covering 3D and the way it’s impacting retailers. “3D and the Future of Store Experience” will reveal how some of the furniture industry’s best retailers are turning 3D into a competitive in-store advantage. Hosted by Raymond James’ Budd Bugatch, panelists will include Scott Perry of Bob’s Discount Furniture, Tony Mitchell of American Furniture Warehouse, and Lee Arnold of Colliers International. The presentation is scheduled to take place on Wed., Dec. 4 during the General Session, which runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Budd Bugatch, Managing Director, Raymond James & Associates

Budd Bugatch serves as a Managing Director and Director of Furnishings Research at Raymond James & Associates, Inc., Research Division. Bugatch covers furniture and furnishings suppliers research within the consumer sector, and publishes a bi-monthly furnishing report providing analysis of the economics and performance of companies. Prior to becoming an Analyst in 1984, Bugatch was the Chief Executive Officer at a nine-store retail furniture chain. He was named one of the top 10 analysts in the Housewares and Furnishings industry in the Reuters Analyst and Research Survey 2000. Bugatch holds an M.B.A. with distinction, from Harvard University, where he was elected as a Baker Scholar and a B.S. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Scott Perry, Vice President, Executive Director of Digital Marketing and Omni-Channel Experience, Bob’s Discount Furniture

Scott Perry has a serious passion for ecommerce, omnichannel, digital advertising, and business in general. Perry has been involved in Internet/ecommerce initiatives since the infancy of the Internet in 1995, when he launched his first business. More recently, Perry’s mantra has been “remove friction and enhance the overall experience” when it comes to omnichannel retail. Perry’s specialties include ecommerce, omnichannel, mobile web, apps, mobile advertising, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and public speaking, among others.

Tony Mitchell, Director of Global Logistics, American Furniture Warehouse

Tony Mitchell is the Director of Global Logistics as well as a buyer for American Furniture Warehouse. He is also leading the omnichannel initiatives for AFW.com. In 24 years with AFW, Mitchell has traveled the world extensively sourcing and negotiating on product directly with factories as well as agents. He oversees all aspects of ocean freight contracts, systems integration and other services to manage the flow of over 7,500 40-foot containers to AFW’s five distribution centers from origins around the globe. Along with a passion for furniture, Mitchell has a passion for automation, transparency and visibility for all stakeholders in the supply chain. He brings a unique perspective with his experience in the logistical processes from factory floors to customer homes.

Lee Arnold, Executive Chairman, Colliers International Florida

Lee Arnold is the Executive Chairman of Colliers International Florida. For more than forty years Lee’s real estate experience has been centered around his specialization in large, one-of-a-kind marketing assignments with an emphasis on problem properties. He actively establishes and manages numerous joint ventures including syndications in real estate, technology, and banking.
