Marxent Labs, LLC ‘s VisualCommerce®, the Augmented Reality retail shopping platform that makes print catalogs shoppable on mobile devices has secured $800,000 from Stage 1 Ventures to bring VisualCommerce® out of beta.
VisualCommerce® makes print catalogs shoppable on mobile devices via image recognition technology, providing the first seamless print-to-ecommerce multichannel shopping experience. The VisualCommerce® platform integrates print catalogs with enterprise ecommerce platforms and features tap-to-buy shopping, product details and reviews, multiple product views, bonus content and social sharing. The VisualCommerce® product roadmap includes loyalty program integration and mobile checkout.
Retailers want more data about how consumers interact with print and consumers want print to be touchable and their multichannel shopping experience to be seamless. VisualCommerce® serves both of these needs.
